Bellwood Man Shot To Death In Maywood
MAYWOOD, Ill. (STMW) -- A Bellwood man died early Sunday after being shot in west suburban Maywood.
Ronald McGowan, 27, was shot in the 800 block of South 19th Street in Maywood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
McGowan, of the 3600 block of West Madison Street in Bellwood, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he died at 1:25 a.m., a representative for the medical examiner's office said.
An autopsy performed Sunday determined that McGowan was killed by a gunshot wound to the back and his death was ruled a homicide.
Maywood police could not be reached for comment Sunday.
