Beckham, Keppinger Placed On 15-Day DL
(CBS) -- The White Sox have placed infielders Gordon Beckham and Jeff Keppinger on the 15-Day DL. Both moves are retroactive to March 21.
Beckham, 27, appeared in 10 Cactus League games before being sidelines with a strained left oblique. He was the Opening Day starter for the Sox at second base from 2010-2013 and .267 with five home runs and 24 RBI in 103 games last season.
Keppinger, 33, is continuing to recover from surgery on his right shoulder that he had on September 26, 2013. The infielder appeared in six Spring Training games, with his last appearance on March 10.
