Bears Sign CB Teddy Williams
(CBS) The Bears have signed cornerback Teddy Williams off the Cardinals' practice squad, they announced Wednesday.
Williams takes the roster spot of linebacker Terrell Manning, who was waived. The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Williams has appeared in 10 games in the past two seasons, with the Colts in 2012 and Cardinals last year. He also has experience at receiver and on special teams after originally coming into the league with the Cowboys in 2010.
Manning had played in two games for the Bears as a special teamer.
