Bears' Eddie Royal, Antrel Rolle Inactive Against 49ers
By Chris Emma--
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Bears receiver Eddie Royal and safety Antrel Rolle, both listed as questionable for Sunday's game with knee injuries, won't play against the 49ers. Both Royal and Rolle have been listed as inactive.
Royal will miss his fifth straight game. He suffered his knee injury in the Bears' loss to the Vikings on Nov. 1 at Soldier Field. Rolle injured his knee in the walk-through practice prior to the Bears' loss to the Broncos on Nov. 22. Details to the extent of each injury aren't known.
On a positive note from the injury front, rookie receiver Kevin White was on the field running routes during pregame warmups, the first time he has done this prior to a game. White was present in practice this week running routes and advancing his rehab from August surgery for a stress fracture in his shin.
While White isn't eligible to play on Sunday due to his placement on the physically-unable-to-perform list, it can be considered an encouraging sign to see him active in warmups. The Bears can move to elevate White to the 53-man roster at any time prior to Dec. 15.
The Bears inactives list also includes receiver Marquess Wilson, who was ruled out on Friday with a foot injury. Wilson was injured on the final play of Wednesday's practice, marking the fourth time this season a player has suffered a known practice injury.
The rest of the inactives are Nick Becton, Jacoby Glenn, Antone Smith and Bruce Gaston.
