Beacon Place In Waukegan Offers Hope To Residents

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Beacon Place in Waukegan is offering more than food and tutoring services to residents.

Beacon Place collects and passes out food to families in need.

"It's one less problem they have to worry about," a spokesperson said. "We are trying to support each other right now."

During the pandemic, the organization has helped nearly 100 families.
