Autopsy Inconclusive For Man Found Dead After Stabbing Two People In Roseland
CHICAGO (STMW) -- An autopsy is pending further studies for a 57-year-old man found dead shortly after he allegedly stabbed two people late Thursday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.
About 9:20 p.m., the man stabbed two other men after an argument in the 300 block of West 104th Street, police said.
An 85-year-old man was stabbed in the chest while a 56-year-old man was stabbed in the chest, hand and lower right leg, police said. Both men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions had stabilized.
The 57-year-old was later found unresponsive at 103rd and Princeton and pronounced dead, police said, though it wasn't clear how he died.
On Sunday, a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office said the man's name had not been released because relatives still need to be notified. The cause and manner of the man's death are pending more studies.
