Austin Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was critically wounded Friday night in an Austin neighborhood shooting on the West Side.

The 38-year-old was on a sidewalk in the 4900 block of West Huron about 9 p.m. when two gunmen walked up and shot him in the back and thighs, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The shooting was thought to be gang-related.
