The two men, both 45, were sitting in a pickup truck in the 0-100 block of South Mason Avenue about 8:40 p.m. when someone shot into the vehicle, police said.

One man was shot several times in the torso and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The other man was shot in the left thigh and taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, police said. His condition had stabilized.
