Police Searching For Masked Man After Attempted Armed Robbery In North Center

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A masked man attempted to rob a business at gunpoint in the North Center neighborhood on Monday.

According to Chicago police, an offender walked into a business, in the 4100 block of North Lincoln Avenue around noon, and displayed a gun.

Police said employees pressed the emergency alarm and the offender fled.

The offender was wearing all black with a black mask, police said.

Chicago police called in dogs and police chopper to search for the suspect.
