Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested In Bolingbrook
(CBS) – Bolingbrook police have arrested an armed robbery suspect in the same town where a string of armed robberies has had residents on edge for weeks.

Authorities have been looking for a man on a spree. A man fitting that description is now under arrest for a like robbery.
Police arrested John Smith for an armed robbery in a Bolingbrook Olive Garden parking lot Wednesday evening. He's 18, of Woodridge.
It's alleged he used a handgun while demanding purses from two women with a scarf over his face one day ago.
Police would not confirm if Smith is the man caught on surveillance in one three armed robberies that occurred between April 24 to 29, citing an ongoing investigation.
The suspect for those robberies is described as a male between 5'8" and 5'10", in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin to medium build.
The suspect used a butcher's knife in one robbery and a handgun in the other two and wore a bandana over his face.
Smith is now jailed and charged with one count of felony robbery.
