Armed Robber Attacks Woman In Logan Square: Police
(CBS) – Chicago police have released a surveillance image of a male suspect they say attacked a woman in Logan Square earlier this week.
The victim was walking in the 2700 block of North Whipple around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday when the suspect grabbed her from behind and dragged her into a gangway, Chicago Police said in a community alert.
The offender struck the woman with a gun and demanded money and then attempted to sexually assault her, police said. He eventually released her and fled.
Police say a surveillance image of the suspect was captured a short time after the attack.
