Archbishop Travels Across Archdiocese On Thanksgiving

(CBS) – The first Chicago Thanksgiving for Chicago's new archbishop, Blase Cupich, was a study in extremes.

The recently installed church leader travelled from one end of the Archdiocese economic spectrum to the other, CBS 2 Chief correspondent Jay Levine reports.

His prayers were attendees enjoying a holiday meal courtesy of Catholic Charities and their volunteers. He was also with parishioners in Lake Forest.

For morning Mass, he wore bishop's robes and delivered a prepared homily. For the afternoon meal, it was a simple black sweater and small talk.
