35 Dogs Rescued From Home In Glencoe
(CBS) -- 35 dogs were found living in what's being described as a hoarder's home in Glencoe, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.
The dogs were found to be filthy conditions, covered in waste and each had to be shaved.
A video of the dogs being cared for at the Glencoe Animal Hospital was posted on YouTube.
Police were called to the home on the 800 block of Greenwood by someone doing a well-being check on the homeowner. They called in the fire department for a hazardous materials response. They entered the home in hazmat suits and called in Tails of Hope adoption center in Highland Park.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for the care of the animals.
