3-year-old boy grazed by bullet on Chicago's Northwest Side

CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago Police were searching Friday afternoon for the man who shot a 3-year-old boy in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The little boy's leg was grazed by a bullet in the shooting at 10:50 p.m. Thursday.

At the time, the child was strapped into a car seat, riding with his mom in the 1100 block of North Kostner Avenue. Police said a man who had a quarrel with the boy's father pulled up in a pickup truck and started shooting.

The child was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where he was reported in good condition.

No arrests have been made. 

Police are investigating.
