2 men dead, 1 in critical condition after Chicago shooting

Two killed, one hurt in Southwest Side Chicago shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two men were killed and a third was critically wounded in a shooting in the Southwest Side's Ashburn neighborhood.

At 4:25 p.m., three men were in a vehicle in the 8300 block of South Pulaski Road when someone shot them all, police said.

A 38-year-old man was shot in the back and chest and was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Another man, age unknown, was shot in the chest and died at the same hospital.

A third man, age also unknown, was shot in the face and right shoulder and was taken to the same hospital, where he was in critical condition late Friday.

Area 1 detectives are investigating.
