3 Injured In West Pullman Fire

(STMW) -- Three people were injured in a fire Saturday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Crews were called to the house in the 11500 block of South Wentworth at 6:08 a.m. and arrived to find the fire fully involved, according to Fire Media Affairs.

Three people were taken from the fire to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island in fair-to-serious condition, fire officials said. Their ages and genders were not immediately known.

The fire was extinguished by 6:45 a.m., according to the fire department. The cause remains under investigation.
