22-Year-Old Man Charged With Lake View Burglary
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 22-year-old man has been charged with burglarizing a home Monday night in the North Side Lake View neighborhood.
Kaabar Venson faces one felony count of residential burglary and one misdemeanor count of possession of cannabis, according to Chicago Police.
Venson burglarized the home of a 56-year-old woman about 10:40 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of West Melrose Street, according to police. He fled with several of her personal belongings.
He was arrested a short distance away, police said
Venson, of the 4900 block of South Racine, was scheduled to appear in bond court Wednesday.
