2 Women, 1 Man Shot In North Lawndale

(STMW) -- Two women and one man were shot late Friday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The two women, ages 19 and 21, and the 26-year-old man were sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of South Whipple Street at 10:00 p.m. when three males walked up and fired shots, police said.

The 21-year-old woman was shot in the chest, the 19-year-old woman was shot in the mouth and the man was shot in the head, police said. The three showed up with their wounds at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The 21-year-old woman is in critical condition, and the condition of the other two have been stabilized.
