16-Year-Old Girl Shot In Auburn Gresham
CHICAGO (CBS) – A 16-year-old girl was shot while walking in the Auburn Gresham area Saturday night, according to police.
Around 11:06 p.m., the victim was walking on the sidewalk on the 8400 block of South Gilbert when a known male offender fired shots.
The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department in good condition with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
No one is in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
