13-Year-Old Boy Shot In Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 13-year-old boy was shot in the Englewood neighborhood late Wednesday night.
Police said the boy was walking along the 5700 block of South Bishop Street around 10 p.m., when he was approached by unknown offenders who began shooting.
The teen was struck in the leg, and taken to Comer Children's Hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said the victim has no known gang affiliations. No one was in custody early Thursday.
