12-Year-Old Shot In Roseland

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 12-year-old boy was shot in the back in Roseland Saturday afternoon, Chicago police said.
Police say the boy was hit on his right side above the hip in the 100 block of West 111th Place around 4:35 p.m. He was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition.
Police say the offender was unknown.
No one is in custody. Area South Detectives were investigating.
