Man Robs Yarmouth Roast Beef Restaurant At Knifepoint
YARMOUTH (CBS) – Cape Cod police are searching for a suspect who robbed a roast beef restaurant at knifepoint.
Police responded to Timmy's Roast Beef on Route 28 in West Yarmouth on Monday just before 5 p.m. after a knife-wielding man threatened two employees and robbed the restaurant before running away.
The suspect is described as a white man about 5'9" tall in his mid-20s or early 30s.
At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a gray hoodie, carrying a blue backpack and covering his face with a "dingy white" shirt.
The weapon used by the man was a folding knife with a four-inch long silver blade.
Surveillance cameras captured the incident.
