WBZ is the official Boston Marathon station! It's the only place you'll be able to see this all important race from start to finish. This week on Centro, WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo has an exclusive interview with Boston Marathon Hero Carlos Arredondo and his wife Melida, who have been community activists, agents of change, peace and hope for many years. They talk about the Arredondo Family Foundation and how the Centro host plans to run this year's Boston Marathon, in benefit of the foundation, which helps military families who experience suicide and offers scholarships to their siblings.
