Worcester Pedestrian Killed In Apparent Hit-And-Run, Police Say
WORCESTER (CBS) - -A female pedestrian was killed in an apparent hit and run crash early Sunday morning in Worcester, Massachusetts State Police said.
Police received a call of a body on Route 190 northbound at Exit 1 at 3:40 a.m. The woman was pronounced dead at a local hospital; her identity has not yet been released.
Officers said they followed a trail of automotive fluid from the scene of the crash to a nearby residence on Whitmarsh Avenue. An adult male driver was interviewed, but charges have not yet been filed.
The crash is still under investigation.
