1 Killed, 1 Injured In Early Morning Worcester Shooting
WORCESTER (AP) — One man was killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting at a Worcester apartment complex early Friday, police said.
Officers responding to the Lakeside Apartments for a report of shots fired found the victims near basketball courts at the complex at about 1:15 a.m., The Telegram & Gazette reports.
Both were taken to the hospital where one was pronounced dead. Injuries to the other man are considered serious, police said.
No names were released and no arrests were announced.
It was the city's second homicide of the week. A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death on Tuesday. Police have made an arrest in that killing.
