Woman Arrested After Car Reported Stolen In Brockton With Child Inside
BROCKTON (CBS) – A woman who allegedly stole a car with a young child inside was arrested Friday afternoon.
It all started at the Shaw's on Belmont Street in Brockton. Two women pulled up in a silver 2006 BMW. One of the women, Kaylee Melara, went inside leaving her one-year-old baby and dog inside the car with her friend.
According to police, that friend, Kylee Andrade, hopped into the driver's street and took off.
Boston police say the Andrade was arrested on Dudley Street in Roxbury after police located the BMW.
There were no injuries reported. The reason for the bizarre ride is still in question.
Andrade will face several charges including kidnapping.
