What Type Of Person Waits Outside All Week For An iPhone? Adolfo Investigates
With the big launch of the iPhone 6 on Friday morning, Toucher & Rich asked the question ... just what type of person spends all week waiting in line outside just for a new phone?
To find out, they sent Adolfo down to the Apple Store to interview folks who are waiting in line.
One gentleman claimed to be so wealthy that he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. As Fred points out, the customer has chosen to leave the private jet in the hangar and pass on a trip to France so that he could spend his time by himself, waiting in line for a phone.
So why, exactly, is he waiting?
"The status," he said. "I really want to whip it out in front of people who think they're more important than me, and I just want to hold it up as a status symbol. I want the most expensive thing, so people think that I'm important."
