What Should The Bruins Do With Tuukka Rask?

BOSTON (CBS) -- While goaltender Tuukka Rask is not the main reason for the Boston Bruins' collapse, he's one of many guys on the list. While it's easy to relate to someone who dealt with what was reportedly a stomach bug, it's hard to justify Rask not even trying to play on Saturday in the Bruins' season-ending 6-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators.

Harkening back to Rask's DNP in a semifinal game for Team Finland in the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Adam Jones not only can't accept Rask's reasoning for sitting out of the game, he doesn't think we've heard the full, true story.

"When you're tapping out of games because of the flu, it's soft, I'm sorry," said Jones, "and I think you're allowed to speculate on what was really going on there."

The conversation soon shifted to Rask's future in Boston. The goaltender is under contract through 2020-21, but could be the subject of trade talks among media folk following his weak performance down the stretch. Rich Keefe, however, does not believe they should trade Rask for just anything, and Jones agreed.

"If some team thinks they can come in and low-ball you ... I would say no to that," said Keefe. "I'm not a 'you've got to trade him' [guy], but I'm not a 'you've got to keep him' guy either."
