Wellfleet Oysterfest Canceled For 2nd Consecutive Year Due To COVID Concerns

WELLFLEET (CBS) - For the second year in a row, the Wellfleet Oysterfest has been canceled.

The annual event was supposed to happen on October 16th and October 17th this year. But organizers say there is still too much uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, and the safety of all venders and guests.

Thousands are drawn to the OysterFest every year.

They say Oysterfest will return in October of 2022.
