2 Teens Killed, Another Injured In Wellesley Crash
BOSTON (CBS) – Two teens were killed and a third was injured when a pickup truck crashed on Route 9 in Wellesley Wednesday night.
Police say the truck was speeding when it went off the road, hit a stone wall and kept going until it hit a cement wall.
Police said passenger 18-year-old Patrick Cash was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and the rear passenger, both 17-year-old boys, were initially trapped and extricated by Wellesley Firefighters.
The driver was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The boy riding in the back seat of the truck is hospitalized with "significant" non-life threatening injuries.
The names of the driver and second passenger were not released due to their age.
The crash remains under investigation.
