WBZ WaterCooler: Red Sox Ready For Opener
BOSTON (CBS) --- At the WBZ Water Cooler: Opening Day for the Red Sox is only a day away. It's been a busy few months down in Ft. Myers, and that's where we found Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe who's been covering the boys of summer.
He says the biggest story coming out of camp is Grady Sizemore playing baseball again, and he says although there have been some key losses, there should be a 'similar chemistry' to last year.
When it comes to the 2014 Red Sox, Cafardo says you always worry about that 'year after syndrome,' when you wonder if everything that went right last year, can go right again. He touched on the loss of Shortstop Stephen Drew. Cafardo thinks he will land somewhere at the end of April-early May when teams will 'come to their senses' and sign him.
