Waltham Attempted Car Break-Ins Caught On Camera
WALTHAM (CBS) -- Waltham Police is warning residents to lock their car doors this season after responding to many calls of attempted break-ins.
A man was caught on surveillance camera early Friday morning attempting to break into two cars parked in a driveway on Hobbs Road.
The police department posted the 9-second video on their Facebook page showing the man trying to open the door of a white pick up truck and moving on to the car parked beside it after realizing the truck was locked.
According to police, the man also tried out other cars in the area.
"Most car breaks are to unlocked vehicles or those with unsecured valuables," the department wrote in the post.
