Walpole Cop Takes On Girls In 'Epic Jump Rope Battle'
WALPOLE (CBS) -- A friendly interaction with some children waiting for the school bus turned into "an epic jump rope battle for neighborhood domination," for one Walpole police officer on Wednesday.
Deputy Chief John Carmichael stopped to talk to some girls at the bus stop while on duty that morning, and the jump rope competition ensued.
"Although he made a gallant effort, DC Carmichael's advanced years were no match for the energy and vitality of youth," Walpole police said on Facebook.
Carmichael bowed out to Molly and Sarah after about 30 seconds.
"Are you guys doing this for a living or something?" he asked.
