BOSTON (CBS) – Friday is Veterans Day, and many restaurants across the United States will honor those who have served with free meals and other discounts.
Here's a look at some of the eateries in the Boston area with Veterans Day giveaways – most of the deals also apply to active military service members. Keep in mind that restaurants may ask for proof of service, like a military ID.
Applebee's: Free meal from select menu for veterans and active duty military.
Bonefish Grill: Complimentary Bang Bang Shrimp for all active and retired service members.
