Turning The Corner...

Wind is settling down temps are on the rise and we've officially turned the corner...on the road to an extended January thaw that rolls in this weekend!  Much warmer air begins to work in tomorrow but it happens several thousand up...it won't work down to the surface until Saturday...it will lead to thickening clouds and snow breaking during the morning commute.  The snow will be light but fairly steady and leave behind some coatings by midday.

We won't see much but coatings will be possible in some towns by the time it tapers off midday.  Following the snow the gates open up for warmth to come flooding in.  Temps will clear 50 on Saturday and there is an outside chance of touching 60 Saturday evening!

Along with the warmth comes the rain...heavy downpours will be aligned along a cold front Saturday night and it is looking like it will pour at times during the Pats game...there is also a small chance for a thunderstorm. Rain amounts should fall between a half inch and an inch.
