Truck Dangles Off Southeast Expressway Overpass
BOSTON (CBS) – A truck was dangling off the side of an overpass on the Southeast Expressway for about two hours Thursday morning.

The box truck crashed into a 2005 Toyota Scion tC coupe and went through a barrier on the southbound side of Interstate 93 in Dorchester just past the Columbia Road exit around 6 a.m., officials said.
The cab section of the truck hung off the overpass, above a section of railroad tracks.
State Police closed off the area around the truck, but rush hour traffic was able to get by in the other three lanes.

The truck driver, a 57-year-old man from Woburn was hospitalized for evaluation. The Toyota driver, a 42-year-old Attleboro man, was also taken to a hospital for possible injuries.
Neither driver is facing charges at this time.
The truck was pulled back onto the highway by a crane around 8:15 a.m.

Red Line service between the JFK-UMass and North Quincy stops and commuter rail service on the Middleborough-Lakeville, Kingston-Plymouth, and Greenbush lines was delayed.
As a result, there were long lines of commuters at several stations.
