I-495 in Middleboro reopens after trash truck rollover
MIDDLEBORO - A tractor-trailer rollover in Middleboro shut down the on and off ramps on Route 495 South at Exit 15 (Route 44) for several hours on Monday, but the busy road has since reopened.
The truck was carrying trash, which spilled into the roadway. The truck was towed around 4 p.m. and cleanup of the debris continued until about 4:30, when the scene cleared.
Police said the driver, 46-year-old man from Hanson, was conscious and alert when they reached the scene of the accident.
The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
