Tornado Warning issued for parts of Worcester, Middlesex County

BOSTON - A Tornado Warning was issued for parts of Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon. 

The warning was in effect for parts of northern Franklin, Middlesex and Worcester Counties. It expired at 4:15 p.m. 

There were no reports of a tornado on the ground.

According to the National Weather Service, damage in eastern Franklin County to western Worcester County was likely from a microburst, not a tornado.
