Tornado Warning Issued Briefly For Parts Of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard
BOSTON (CBS) - A Tornado Warning was issued for parts of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard late Monday morning, as severe thunderstorms rolled across eastern Massachusetts.
The warning from the National Weather Service was in effect for Barnstable and Dukes counties until noon.
No tornadoes have been reported as of early Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service said there were damaging winds across the Cape with wind gusts as high as 61 miles per hour in Dennis.
