16-Year-Old Boy On Bike Seriously Hurt After Being Hit By Car In Topsfield

TOPSFIELD (CBS) - A 16-year-old boy was seriously hurt after he was hit by a car in Topsfield Wednesday evening.
The teen was riding his bike on Barehill Road around 7:15 p.m. when he was struck. The driver stopped and stayed at the scene.
The boy, who was not responsive, was rushed to Tufts Medical Center in Boston on a medical rescue helicopter with what the fire department said were "potentially life threatening injuries."
No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
