Brady In Court Tuesday, Not Likely To Attend Settlement Hearing Wednesday
BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady was not at practice on Tuesday, but it appears reports that he was going to Wednesday's DeflateGate settlement hearing were a bit premature.
Brady was actually in court on Tuesday for settlement talks with the NFL as the two sides tried to reach a settlement on the quarterback's four-game suspension.
But as with every instance when the two sides tried to reach a settlement, talks went nowhere. With that, there is no need for Brady to attend Wednesday's settlement hearing.
Brady was in New York for settlement talks today ordered by Judge Berman. "No progress," source said, so he's not staying for hearing.

Tom Brady had never fully committed one way or the other to attending tomorrow's meeting. Now getting the impression he won't.
