Tom Brady 'Ticked Off' Over DeflateGate, Julian Edelman Says
BOSTON (CBS) -- As Tom Brady awaits a decision from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on his DeflateGate suspension appeal, one Patriots player says the quarterback isn't happy with the proceedings.
Speaking to reporters at a charity event Saturday morning, wide receiver Julian Edelman said Brady is "a little ticked off" about his four-game suspension.
"He's fired up, we'll say that," Edelman said when asked about Brady's demeanor as the team prepares for next season. "You don't want a mad Tom Brady."
Brady appealed his suspension on June 23, and the NFLPA has reportedly said it will take the fight to court if Goodell doesn't wipe out the suspension completely.
On Friday, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski said waiting for a decision from Goodell was "annoying."
Edelman said he's personally not thinking about DeflateGate, regardless of who will be the starting quarterback for the team on Week 1.

"Whatever happens, it happens," Edelman said. "I'm sure coaches will have their thing and have us prepared for either way."
