Tom Brady, Boston Athletes Mourn Fallen Firefighters
BOSTON (CBS) - There has been an outpouring of support from the Boston sports community after two firefighters were killed in a 9-alarm fire in the Back Bay Wednesday.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was spotted watching the rescue efforts near the scene at 298 Beacon Street.
Brady lived previously in a nearby building and is believed to be renting in the area while his house is under construction.
Brady expressed his sympathy on Facebook.
"On behalf of my entire family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Boston Fire Department and the families of our brave and selfless firefighters who gave their lives for our protection and safety today, and to the entire firefighting community who protect us each and every day. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers."

The Bruins' Brad Marchand took to Twitter to offer his condolences. Vince Wilfork, Julian Edelman and Devin McCourty of the Patriots also shared his sympathy with the firefighters' families.
Jon Lester, David Ortiz and Shane Victorino of the Red Sox also paid tribute on Twitter.
The Celtics began their game with the Toronto Raptors with a moment of silence Wednesday night at the TD Garden.
