These Cars Get The Most Traffic Tickets, New Survey Finds

FOSTER CITY, Calif. (CBS) – In the market for a new car? You might be interested to see which are reportedly getting ticketed the most.

Insurance.com looked at information submitted by thousands of drivers in the past two years and came up with a list of the 20-most ticketed vehicles.

Leading the way is the Lexus ES 300 – 33 percent of people who drive that stylish car said they've gotten a ticket.

"It's the driver that gets tickets, not the car," Penny Gusner, a consumer analyst for Insurance.com, said in a statement. "But it is interesting to see what vehicle makes and models attract drivers who are prone to traffic violations."
