The Adam Jones Show: Can Loui Eriksson Fill The Void Left By Jarome Iginla?

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's The Adam Jones Show had two guests on Wednesday night to talk Bruins, first up was Mike Loftus of The Patriot Ledger.

It's no secret that the Bruins are left with a huge hole in the lineup without Jarome Iginla, who recently inked a new three-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche. Now the Bruins are tasked with finding a top line right winger.

On replacing Iginla:

"My expectation is Loui Erickson on the first line and then finding someone to replace Shawn Thornton on the fourth line."

High expectations for Eriksson on first line?

"I don't feel he had a very fair chance on the team to show what type of player he is, I think he's got much more to show than he did last year and it should make a difference."

Next up to talk B's was Dave Lozo of Bleacher Report, who came on to provide some perspective on stories happening around the NHL.

Despite getting bounced in the second round of the playoffs and losing their top line right winger, Lozo believes the Bruins are still one of the top 2 teams in the Eastern Conference.

As for the Bruins' salary cap situation and their needs going forwards:

"I don't really see the defense being as important as the forwards. You did see three younger guys who proved they could play full-time in this league."
