Nothing says Thanksgiving more than dining like a Pilgrim. You can do just that south of Boston at Plimoth Plantation. Learn how the dining tradition came to be at America's Thanksgiving Dinner. The event features a roast turkey with all of the New England trimmings, complete with costumed Pilgrims.The annual event sells out every year, so if you aren't lucky enough to get a reservation, they also offer a Thanksgiving brunch and all sorts of events all weekend long.

Old Sturbridge Village is another great way to enjoy themed dining. Located just north of Boston, the New England museum offers an inside look at 19th century New England dining. Thanksgiving is all about indulging, or in many cases, overindulging. To keep the tradition going all weekend long, head to the Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel.
