Suspect And Victim In Police Custody After Tewksbury Stabbing

TEWKSBURY (CBS) – Two people have been arrested after a stabbing in Tewksbury.

The stabbing was reported around 10 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street.

One person was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police were on scene for hours.

A suspect is in custody, as is the the victim who had outstanding warrants.

Thomas Quinlan, 27, of Dracut was charged with armed assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Tewksbury Police believe the stabbing resulted from a drug transaction.
