Man Charged With Trafficking Cocaine, Oxycodone In Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY (CBS) – A man was charged with trafficking drugs and a woman was also arrested after Tewksbury Police witnessed an alleged drug deal.

Police say they saw the drug deal Thursday night on Ward Street and soon after stopped Lisa Nocco, 52, of Tewksbury, who is accused of buying several oxycodone pills.

A short time later, James Brooks, was arrested outside the house where the alleged drug deal took place.

After searching Brooks' home, police recovered 18 grams of cocaine, several oxycodone pills, packaging materials and two digital scales.

Brooks is currently on probation out of Lowell Superior Court.

He was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine over 18 grams, distribution of oxycodone subsequent offense, possession with intent to distribute oxycodone subsequent offense, and possession of steroids.

Nocco was charged with possession of ocycodone and failure to signal.

Both Brooks and Nocco were arraigned on Friday.
