'Techstars' Demo Day Highlights Boston's Entrepreneurs
BOSTON (CBS) --- Call it a microcosm of America; young entrepreneurs dip into their creative well and come up with a product or idea that just may sell.
A group called "Techstars" aims to harness that creativity through events like one held Tuesday at the House of Blues.
"We call it demo day, it's a chance for them to explain their business in five-to-six minutes to an audience of about 800 investors, interested entrepreneurs and members of the community," said Techstars Managing Director Reed Sturtevant.

Each of the 12 participating startups were given $100,000, legal, banking and hosting services and office space for three months.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens caught up with literary startup "Litographs." The man behind the idea - Danny Fein - explained how he can fit 25,000 to 50,000 words of a literary work on a t-shirt. His line of posters fit even more - enough to fit the whole text of Moby Dick.
"I hope we can introduce the brand and our product and vision to a lot of smart and interesting people in Boston and Cambridge, which is the best place to be for a literary startup," Fein said.
