Taunton Police Searching For Level 3 Sex Offender

TAUNTON (CBS) --- Police are searching for a Level 3 sex offender who fled when State Police attempted to serve a warrant at his home.

James M. Bowen, 50, is wanted on warrants out of Norfolk Superior Court and Taunton District Court. Police were attempting to serve the superior court warrant when he fled, two weeks ago.

Authorities say he's now been placed in violation with the state Sex Offender Registry Board.

Police are asking if you see Bowen or have information as to his whereabouts, to call them.
